School reopens already and I am very happy. Today I went school and saw alot of our new classmates. We had bonding first by playing some games to let us understand our new classmate more. I saw a girl from my primary school too. She is just sitting beside me. I talk to her, asking her her name. She is call kai ling. We had a wonderful time talking together. First few weeks of school was fun. We had play all type of games that requires team work and this also helps us to increase the bonding between us. Almost every teacher of different subject had different games for us. We had assembly talk on the 16 habitas of mind and was told that every class had to present an item about 16 habits of mind. Our class did magic! It was so fun. The magic was all about science. Then, we went to hall and every classes video was presented. Among these few weeks, we had a wonderful time together and I hope we will be able to get along well in the next two years.

Hurricane Katrina had the most devasting impact on Louisiana where many of the islands became sandbars with acres of marshes washed out. Wetlands were damaged. A huge swath of marshes were completely blown out. Vegetation along water sources have disappeared. Remains turned on unhealthy brown shade. Destroying the sea harvests, they were unable to produce the oyster to their customers. Having USto import oyster from other countries, fishermans now were unemployed and unsettled. Floodwater contaminated homes and businesses. The torrent split open containers of household chemicals, overturned automobiles and cracked their gas tanks. It disturbed underground gas and oil tanks. Katrina toppled trees where roots ripped soil and pipes from below ground like giant pitchforks. Human corpses, dead pets and other animals were not cleared away from city-floodwater. Louisiana plan to launch big and small projects to rebuild barrier islands and replant lost marsh grass.(word count:137)
