This year we had our cross country at Nanyang Polytechnic in the afternoon. As an NPCC cadet, I will be having my duties. When me and my friend reach NYP, we felt some how lost. The school is so big. We saw some of our members and move towards them. After we had the opening speech from the principal, Mr Chua brief us on total defence. We are holding our cross country and total defence on the same day. We had performance perform by different uniform groups. When it was our uniform group to perform, we couldn't watch it as we need to leave for our duties, but we peek through the tress and manage to watch it. It was interesting. when I was having duties, I saw many of our students running for their class. We also became cheer leaders and cheer for our classmates. My class came in first for the boys in upper secondary. I am proud of him. At the end of the day, we sang our school song loudly and was proud to be a chongboonites. Hope that next year cross country will be as interesting as this year.
